Large Sevres style porcelain lidded vase or urn. Magenta ground, gilt painted decoration, gilt bronze mounts. Hand painted scene of a maiden with cupids and a landscape scene on the reverse, signed Poitevin. Interior of lid marked France with blue Sevres style interlaced L mark with central D and S….. below. 35"H. Oxidation to finial on lid and some losses to patina on mounts, minor losses to gilt painting, crazing.
