T.H. Robsjohn-Gibbings (British, 1903-1976). Mahogany side table for Widdicomb, number 1440, with glass top. 20th century. Remnants of serial number "1440" stamped on underside of top. Metal John Stuart Inc., New York – Grand Rapids tag on underside of top. Heavy wear, water damage, staining and scratches throughout wood of top and underside. Loss of original finish throughout table. Scratches, staining and marks, and throughout base and acanthus form support. White scuffs to wood along edges of top. Underside of table base has been hollowed out. Scratches, wear and marks throughout glass top. Chips to edges of glass.26 3/4" H (with glass top) 26 1/8" H without. 26" diameter.
