Sterling silver repousse decorated sombrero with inscription "Viva Mexico" with eagle, 5 1/2"-diameter, marked on the inside "Hecho en Mexico. Sterling 925" with LJ DF maker’s marks, 96.7 grams. Wood lined sterling box, 6 3/8"L x 3 5/8"W x 1 1/2"H, marked "Hecho en Mexico, Plata 925. Sterling", with SZS maker’s mark on underside. Dents to top of sombrero.
