Chinese lacquered figural folding screen. 20th century. Four lacquered panels decorated with polychromatic relief scenes of courtiers on one side and floral motifs on the other. Original hinges and hardware are no longer present and panels are in four separate pieces. Losses to lacquer on edges and faces of panels. Tarnishing and wear to metal foot caps on feet of screens. Wear, scuffs, and fading to paint throughout.
Each panel measures 16 1/8" W x 7/8" D x 72 1/4" H. 56 lbs total.
