American Chippendale slant front desk. American, Late 19th/Early 19th Century. Slant front hinges and interior drawer knobs added in 20th century. Inlaid veneer, four drawers with brass batwing pulls, slant front with supports open to reveal writing surface with four letter cubbies and four drawer, one locking cubby door. Craquelere present on slant front and top of piece, wormholing on top and right side. Wear to front, top drawer offsets into chassis. Right slant front extension is hard to remove.
