This is a World War II era battery case (CY-386 GTC-1) which was part of Flash Ranging Set AN/GTC-1, a complete, portable all-weather telephone system used by field artillery observation units. This battery case is in good condition and has typical wear consistent with its age. Strap and original wiring is included. Measures approximately 15.25" L x 5.5" W x 7.5" H.
