Renzo Rutili (Donora, PA, 1901-1966). Mid Century Modern gentleman’s high chest designed for Johnson Furniture Company and retailed by John Stuart Inc. John Stuart Inc. metal tag on inside of top left drawer. 12 exterior drawers and center cabinet with two interior drawers. Scratches, marks and wear to wood of top of chest. Chips to wood on top front edge of chest. Gouges to wood on central cabinet doors of chest. Nicks to wood of drawer pulls. Scuffs and marks to wood on left and right sides of chest. Chip and loss to wood of front left foot. Scratches and marks throughout wood of feet.
