Carved wood folk art owl sculpture. 20th century. Carved hardwood owl on base. Initialed with asterisk and "MP" on back of sculpture behind talon. Signed and dated "M. PEREIRA 77" on base. Small nicks to wood of base. Splits, cracks, and wear to sculpture and base. 11 1/2" W x 14 1/2" D x 19 1/8" H
