Cigar store Indian trade figure in the style of Thomas Brooks (American, New York, 1828-1895). Late 19th/early 20th century. American Indian chief with polychromatic tobacco leaf headdress with left hand raised, right hand holding bundle of cigars, left foot raised on block. Wood from center feather on headdress detached (piece present). Splits and cracks to wood throughout base, body of Indian, and headdress. Wear, fading, chips, flaking, and losses to paint and wood throughout base and Indian.
