Susan Catherine Waters (American, 1823-1900). Oil on canvas, cows and sheep in river landscape, with village on the shore behind. Signed Mrs. Susan C. Waters lower left. 29 1/2" x 41 1/2" (with frame 39 1/2" x 51 1/2"). Paint loss through cows and background along left side, hole in canvas lower right, paint loss and cracking to paint lower left, some crazing, canvas loose in frame, chips and losses to gilt frame.
