Tony Walton (British, 1934-2022). The Sea Gull (film). Group of 6 original costume design sketches, sepia ink on paper. Characters including Trigorin (James Mason), Arkadina (Simone Signoret), 2 Dorn (Denholm Elliott), Shamraev (Ronald Radd), Konstantin (David Warner). All initialed TW and with handwritten character names. 4 sealed in plastic with foam core board, 1 framed, 1 matted. Arkadina 26 1/2" x 17 1/2" including mount. All as is and in production used condition. Created by Tony Walton for the film The Sea Gull, Warner Bros. / Seven Arts, 1968; adapted from Chekhov’s 1896 play The Seagull.
