Description
Carl Kauba (Austrian, 1865-1922). Bronze sculpture of a Native American warrior on a rearing horse. The work is finished with a multi-toned brown patina and is mounted on an integral rocky bronze base. The base is incised with the signature C Kauba. The underside of the sculpture reveals a hollow-cast construction with two mounting bolts and washers. 16.5″ H x 10.5″ W x 7″ D.

Condition report:
The sculpture is in overall excellent condition with a well-preserved patina. Minor green oxidation is visible in the recessed areas of the feathered headdress and on the bow. No visible repairs, cracks, or missing structural elements.
