Description
Art Nouveau floor-standing uranium glass fish bowl on a cast metal stand. The stand includes a C-shaped cradle with a scalloped edge. A central mascaron of a female face with flowing hair is positioned beneath the cradle. The shield contains a diagonal band, a tower symbol, and a floral motif. The piece stands on a pierced, domed base with four scrolled foliate feet. 46″ H x 16″ W x 8″ D.
Condition report:
The uranium glass bowl appears to be in overall good condition with minor surface scratches and internal mineral deposits from previous use. The metal stand shows a naturally aged patina with surface wear, darkening, and oxidation consistent with age. Debris is present in the crevices of the cast metalwork.
