Description
Keith Milow (British, b. 1945). Mixed media sculpture, Cross 03. The sculpture features a deep recessed rectangular cavity at the intersection of the beams and a projecting triangular architectural element near the base. The surface exhibits an intentionally distressed patina with mottled tones of iron-oxide orange and silvery-gray. The interior of the hollow back is hand-inscribed in black marker with the signature Keith Milow 2010 and the title and date Cross 03 2010. 30 1/4″ H x 23 1/2″ W x 11 1/2″ D.
Condition report:
The sculpture exhibits an intentionally distressed and weathered surface patina consistent with the artist\'s intended aesthetic. The internal wooden structure shows rough-hewn edges and construction marks. There are no apparent repairs or significant structural damages beyond the intentional artistic treatments.
