Jenny Lind (Swedish, 1820–1887). Lithograph and clipped autograph, Marie in La fille du regiment. Signed Jenny Goldschmidt in ink on the autograph slip. The portrait depicts the opera singer in costume with the title Jenny Lind als Regimentstochter printed below. Housed in a dual-aperture cream mat and a gilded wood frame under glass. Signed Jenny Goldschmidt in ink. Frame: 15″ H x 10 1/2″ W.

Condition report:
Toning to the lithograph and autograph paper. The clipped autograph slip has light horizontal creasing and a small, faint foxing mark near the initial letter. Matting is yellowed consistent with age. Gilded frame shows minor surface wear, corner nicks, and typical light abrasions. The dust cover on the verso is intact.
