Description
This set of three color lithographs on heavy white paper was produced by artist Jose Claudino in 1982. The artworks feature stylized, naive subjects: a basket of six red fruits with green leaves in a verdant field; a bowl of blue and purple flowers set against a sunset gradient; and a red-and-white spotted cow standing on a blue textured surface under a starry sky. The prints utilize vibrant, saturated colors and textured, pointillist-style details. Each piece is hand-signed in blue pencil in the lower right margin J. CLAUDINO 82 and includes an edition number in the lower left margin: 30/50, 18/50, and 15-50. A circular blind stamp is located in the lower left corner of each sheet with the transcribed text ACQUA L.B. CASALIO.

Condition report:
Visible light toning and handling wear are present along the paper margins and edges. Occasional minor surface soiling is noted. One sheet, depicting the cow, shows significant overall tanning and brown discoloration across its entire verso.
