The Sam Palermo Collection is an exquisite two-day auction – March 24th and 25th from the personal collection of a New York gentleman in the NYC Antique Trade for over 70 years. Sam Palermo’s personal collection includes many of the finest selections he encountered from his lifetime in working with art and antiques. We are offering a varied group of interesting objects. There are dozens of perfume bottles including Baccarat and Lalique as well as cut crystal lie downs with sterling tops. There are many lots of Fiestaware for sale. These include many colors and forms. Do not overlook a strong showing of portrait miniature, some signed by artist. The highlight of day one is a piece by Violet Oakley. This oil embellished print on artist board of William Penn is a study for a mural in the Governor’s Grand Executive Reception Room at the Pennsylvania State House.
