Prussian officer’s infantry sword. Prussian, Mid 19th Century. Regulation brass gilt hilt with silver wire bound grip and folding side guard. Scabbard is leather lined and coated with brass caps. Blade holds etched designs of floral tracery, Prussian coat of arms is on one side. Heavy staining and wear to blade, wire grip is unfurled, heavy oxidization on hilt. 36" L
