Japanese griffin form fire screen. Japanese, Early 20th Century. Folding peacock-style fire screen in cast and pierced brass, with ornate griffin or dragon-form base. Tarnish, patina, and a few minor bends to brass fan; hinges stick slightly; missing screw to secure latch on one side. Folded: 25" H x 6 1/2" L x 4 1/2" W Unfolded: 25" H x 37 1/2" L x 4 1/2" W
