Tony Walton (British, 1934-2022), Philip Gips (American, 1931-2019) and Stephen Frankfurt (American, 1931-2012). All That Jazz (film). Group of 3 pieces. The Stand-Up window card / poster, designed by Tony Walton, a fictitious production "produced & directed by" the film’s main character, Joe Gideon (Roy Scheider), 22" x 13 3/4". All That Jazz one sheet poster, designed by Gips & Frankfurt, sight 21 1/2" x 14 1/4" (with frame 22 1/4" x 14 3/4"). Lobby card, 20th Century Fox, 11" x 14". Stand-Up poster and lobby card both with bumped and creased corners, Stand-Up with minor scratches. All created for the film All That Jazz, Columbia Pictures, 1979. A loosely autobiographical story based on the film’s writer / director Bob Fosse, All That Jazz was nominated for multiple Academy Awards in 1979, including Best Picture, Best Director (Fosse), Best Actor (Scheider) and Best Screenplay (Fosse & Robert Alan Aurthur). Tony Walton (along with Philip Rosenberg, Edward Stewart and Gary Brink) won the Academy Award for Best Art Direction. Fosse’s work on All That Jazz also won him the Palme d’Or at Cannes in 1980. Walton’s official credit on the film is Fantasy Designer.
