Tony Walton (British, 1934-2022). 42nd Street. Poster / logo / Playbill design artwork. Including 9 prints in various sizes, 7 original line drawings in ink and red pencil on tracing paper, pencil drawing on tracing paper of the 42nd Street lettering with 3 blue line copies of the same image, painted cut out "42nd Street Gal", 2 42nd Street logos with lettering ink and printed cut-out figure, mixed media on illustration board (missing second T in Street), 2 acetate overlays of "Singin’ in the Rain", and a 42nd Street lobby card. Mixed media 30" x 20". All as is and in production used condition. Created by Tony Walton for the Broadway production of 42nd Street, Winter Garden Theatre, 1980-1989.
