Tony Walton (British, 1934-2022). Cindy-Ella. Portfolio of original artwork and prints, for both the book and play. 130 illustrations for the book, mixed media with ink and gouache on paper, various sizes, most cut out and mounted on paper, some with notations and page numbers in pencil, 30+ prints and 10 negative prints of the same images; 2 mixed media illustrations for the front and back endpapers; folder containing additional copies and materials for the book cover. 4 pieces original set design artwork, mixed media with gouache; a ground plan for the Garrick Theatre and a pad of handwritten notes. Endpaper illustrations 11" x 13 5/8". All as is and in production and publisher used condition. Created by Tony Walton for the book Cindy-Ella, or I Gotta Shoe, Caryl Brahms & Ned Sherrin, W.H. Allen, London, 1962; and the West End production, Garrick Theatre, 1962.
