Tony Walton (British, 1934-2022). Golden Boy. Set model backdrop hangers, six layers, mixed media with acrylic, cardboard, fabric and other materials. With a set of 25 black and white prints of backdrops from the London production. Most prints 27" x 18". All as is and in production used condition. Created by Tony Walton for the Broadway production of Golden Boy, Majestic Theatre, New York, 1964-1966; and the West End production, London Palladium, 1968. Golden Boy was nominated for the Tony Award for Best Musical in 1965.
