Tony Walton (British, 1934-2022). The Apple Tree. Group of 85+ set design sketches. Mostly pen & ink and pencil on paper and tracing paper. Largest sheets 18" x 24". With 45+ prints and other copies, including some duplicates. All as is and in production used condition. Created by Tony Walton for the Broadway production of The Apple Tree, Sam S. Shubert Theatre, 1966-1967. Tony Walton was nominated for the Tony Award for Best Costume Design for The Apple Tree in 1967, and the show was nominated for Best Musical the same year.
