Tony Walton (British, 1934-2022). Deathtrap (film). Group of 10 posters for the fictitious productions of the film’s main character, Sidney Bruhl (Michael Caine), and Seymour Starger (Joe Silver). Posters for Exit Jane Doe, Murderer’s Child, The Murder Game, Gunpoint, Blind Justice, Flicker of Doubt, The Bleeding Hat, A Hint of Murder, Hell’s Teeth, In for the Kill. All with printed photographs, and all except Blind Justice, Gunpoint and The Murder Game with hand painted lettering. 3 printed posters on foamcore, others all on illustration board. Murder’s Child 23 1/4" x 15". All as is and in production used condition. Created by Tony Walton for the film Deathtrap, Warner Bros. Pictures, 1982. Versions of these posters can be seen hanging in Sidney Bruhl’s home in the film. Tony Walton was both the production and costume designer for the film.
