Tony Walton (British, 1934-2022). Hurlyburly. Portfolio of photos, notes and other papers related to the production. 4 paint details, 2 on plywood and 2 sets mounted on foam core board; 3 blown-up photos of the set model, 2 larger mounted on board and labeled "Spinoff"; 250+ photos including reference, set model, research; folder of handwritten, typed and photocopied notes and other papers. Largest mounted set model photo 13" x 25". With Joseph Bahl designed posters / window cards for both the Broadway and off-Broadway productions. All as is and in production used condition. Created and compiled by Tony Walton for Hurlyburly, off-Broadway, Promenade Theatre, July-August 1984 / Broadway, Ethel Barrymore Theatre, from August 1984-June 1985. The show was nominated for the Tony Award for Best Play in 1985.
