Tony Walton (British, 1934-2022). Leader of the Pack. Original poster and Playbill cover artwork, collage with cut paper and gold ink. Initialed TW and dated ’85 on the plastic. With a copy of the Playbill and a program from the show, both featuring the same art on the cover. Poster wrapped in plastic with foam board, 33 7/8" x 21 3/4" including foam mount. As is and in production used condition, and with tears to the plastic. Created by Tony Walton for the Broadway production of Leader of the Pack, Ambassador Theatre, 1985. Leader of the Pack was nominated for the Tony Award for best Musical in 1985. In addition to the poster and Playbill cover, Tony Walton also designed the sets for the show.
