Tony Walton (British, 1934-2022). Anything Goes. Model piece, Austrian Drape. Mixed media with cardboard, gold ink, foam core board. 18 3/4"L x 15"H. As is and in production used condition, tassel missing. Created by Tony Walton for the Broadway production of Anything Goes, Vivian Beaumont Theatre, 1987-1989. Tony Walton was nominated for Drama Desk and Tony awards for both scenic and costume design in 1988. The show won the Tony for Best Revival in 1988 and the production’s cast and crew were nominated for — and won — several other awards.
