Tony Walton (British, 1934-2022) and James McMullan (Irish / Canadian, 1934-). Group of set design prints, posters and window cards. 7 color prints and copies of Tony Walton’s SS American set design artwork, two mounted, each 16" x 16 1/2" including mounts; a sepia print, 23 costume design prints and copies, including duplicate images, with one blue line print with hand painting on the face and hands; an additional portfolio of prints and papers for a one night only Anything Goes gala performance in 2002, containing 7 prints in various stages for the S.S. American and other papers related to the production. With 7 posters and window cards designed by James McMullan for various productions of the show, including 2 window cards for the Broadway production at the Lincoln Center Theater at the Vivian Beaumont, a first U.S. tour window card, 2 posters for the second U.S. tour, 2 posters for the West End production, mounted poster for the German production at the Theater Des Westens. Set design artwork created by Tony Walton and posters by James McMullan, originally for the Broadway production of Anything Goes, Vivian Beaumont Theatre, 1987-1989; and later productions. Tony Walton was nominated for both a Drama Desk and Tony Award for his sets. In 1988 Anything Goes won both the Tony and Drama Desk Awards for best revival.
