Tony Walton (British, 1934-2022). Macbeth. Group of production design materials, including photographs, prints, sketches and other materials in two portfolios. 8 scale photographs of driftwood mounted on foam board for set design reference; 5 pieces original banner and flag design artwork, mixed media with acrylic and ink, with additional printed and cut paper pieces; 13 original scenic design sketches in various mediums including pencil and ink; 14 pieces original scenic design artwork in acrylic on paper. With a grouping of additional prints, typed and handwritten notes, photographs and other production papers. Macbeth’s Banner 14 1/8" x 8 1/4". As is and in production used condition. Created by Tony Walton for the pre-Broadway production of Macbeth, Morris A. Mechanic Theatre, Baltimore, Maryland, 1988.
