Tony Walton (British, 1934-2022). Six Degrees of Separation. Portfolio containing original set design artwork, technical drawings, photos, notes and other papers. 2 original set design pieces, "Kandinsky", mixed media with gouache and acrylic, one with spurious Kandinsky signature, each 10" x 10" (with mats 14" x 14"). With a "Kandinsky" collage, 36 photos of various set design elements, a handwritten note from Tony Walton to Six Degrees co-producer / director Michael Leavitt "For Michael Leavitt & The Chicago 6 Degrees gang – wishing you all the very best for a great success tonight & here’s to a triumphantly long run – Tony W. & Sharon & all the very best too to Marlo & Company", and 3 blue line prints for technical aspects of the Briar Street Theatre, Chicago. All as is and in production used condition. Created by Tony Walton for the Chicago production of Six Degrees of Separation, 1992. Tony Walton also did the scenic design for the original Broadway run of Six Degrees at the Vivian Beaumont Theatre in 1990.
