Tony Walton (British, 1934-2022). Four Baboons Adoring the Sun. Set model. Mixed media with acrylic on wood, cardboard and fabric. With additional model pieces. Model 21 3/4"L x 20 3/8"D x 12 1/4"H. All as is and in production used condition, and with loose pieces. Created by Tony Walton for the Broadway production of Four Baboons Adoring the Sun, Lincoln Center Theater at the Vivian Beaumont, 1992. Tony Walton was nominated for an Outer Critics Circle award for Outstanding Set Design for his work on the show. Four Baboons was nominated for the Tony Award for Best Play in 1992.
