Tony Walton (British, 1934-2022). Guys and Dolls. 60+ pieces original set design artwork. Mostly pencil on tracing paper, with sketches for various scenic design elements, lettering, signs. With a print and a tracing of William Ivey Long’s costume designs and a copy of the hanging plot. Larger tracing sheets 19" x 24". All as is and in production used condition. Created by Tony Walton for the Broadway production of Guys and Dolls, Martin Beck Theatre, 1992-1995. Tony Walton won a Tony Award for Scenic Design for the production in 1992, and the show and its cast and crew won several other awards, including the Tony for Best Revival the same year.
