Tony Walton (British, 1934-2022). Guys and Dolls. 5 portfolios of scenic design prints, photographs and other materials related to the production. Portfolio 1: 19 mounted color prints of Tony Walton’s set designs and 37 additional color and black and white prints. Portfolio 2: 12 color prints and photographs of Tony Walton’s set designs. Portfolio 3: 25 color and art prints of Tony Walton’s set designs, many of the same image. Portfolio 4: 57 color copies, prints, photos of various set design elements; copies of technical drawings, and other papers related to the production, 200+ photos mounted in manila folders of set models, reference and research. Portfolio 5: sketches, photos. Broadway / Runyonland art prints, 20 1/2" x 25 3/4". All as is and in production used condition. Created and compiled by Tony Walton for the Broadway production of Guys and Dolls, Martin Beck Theatre, 1992-1995; the national tour, 1992-1994; and the regional theater production at the Paper Mill Playhouse, Millburn, NJ, 2004. Tony Walton won a Tony Award for Scenic Design for the Broadway production in 1992, and the show and its cast and crew won several other awards, including the Tony for Best Revival the same year.
