Tony Walton (British, 1934-2022). Guys and Dolls. Group of 2 sets of mounted reference photos with fabric swatches, each numbered and corresponding to mounted photocopied sketch, for "Figures Finale" backdrop. Larger 30" x 30 1/2". As is and in production used condition, tape and plastic peeling from both. Created by Tony Walton for the Broadway production of Guys and Dolls, Martin Beck Theatre, 1992-1995. Tony Walton won a Tony Award for Scenic Design for Broadway production in 1992, and the show and its cast and crew won several other awards, including the Tony for Best Revival the same year.
