Tony Walton (British, 1934-2022). Busker Alley (pre-Broadway). Group of scenic and costume design artwork, including prints and originals. Original mixed media artwork for Underneath the Arches, with notations in gold ink, 11 1/2" x18 3/4"; a set of photo transparencies of Tommy Tune, an envelope with 30 color prints of Willa Kim’s costume design artwork and copies of other costume design materials; 70 color prints of various sets and scene designs and 2 faxed copies of streetlight designs. With a print of the Busker Alley logo design. All as is and in production used condition. All except costume designs created by Tony Walton for Busker Alley. The show opened a national tour in Louisville, Kentucky and was scheduled to open on Broadway later in 1995, but the Broadway production was cancelled after star Tommy Tune broke his ankle.
