Tony Walton (British, 1934-2022). Busker Alley (pre-Broadway). Acrylic on illustration board, original Busker Alley logo / poster artwork, 13 1/4" x 17"; with 5 additional acrylic on board letters, a print of the artwork, 29 pencil and sepia ink sketches on tracing paper and 20+ copied pages of the same images. All as is and in production used condition. All as is and in production used condition. All created by Tony Walton for Busker Alley. The show opened a national tour in Louisville, Kentucky and was scheduled to open on Broadway later in 1995, but the Broadway production was cancelled after star Tommy Tune broke his ankle.
