Tony Walton (British, 1934-2022). Annie Get Your Gun. Grouping of production artwork for Buffalo Bill show scrim. 16 pieces, mostly prints, some with cut paper sections and paint embellishments. Buffalo Bill’s Wild West with printed sections and painted tent, Buffalo Bill Presents with printed lettering and lines and watercolor and pencil coloring, Buffalo Bill Presents pencil drawing on tracing paper and black and white copy of the same image, 2 original pencil drawings of wagons and teepees with notations and 2 color prints of the same images, and 10 color prints. Buffalo Bill’s Wild West (with painted tent) 18 1/4" x 25 1/2". All as is and in production used condition. Created by Tony Walton for the Broadway production of Annie Get Your Gun, Marquis Theatre, 1999-2001. Annie Get Your Gun won the Tony for Best Revival of a Musical in 1999.
