Tony Walton (British, 1934-2022). Annie Get Your Gun. 2 pieces original production artwork. Buffalo Bill Col. W.F. Cody, America’s Greatest Cowboy Showman, mixed media on paper mounted on board, all hand painted except Buffalo Bill cut out color print, with Tony Walton’s notations in gold ink on the mount, 22" x 16 5/8"; Buffalo Bill’s Wild West Starring Frank Butler The World’s Foremost Sharpshooter, mixed media with acrylic, printed and cut paper, hand painted overlay except Frank Butler’s head printed cut paper, 23" x 16", with a color print of the same image. All as is and in production used condition. Created by Tony Walton for the Broadway production of Annie Get Your Gun, Marquis Theatre, 1999-2001. Annie Get Your Gun won the Tony for Best Revival of a Musical in 1999.
