Tony Walton (British, 1934-2022). Saint Louis Woman (ballet). 3 portfolios containing set design artwork, including originals and prints. Portfolio 1: 5 photographs on foam core board of the sets and performance, a copy of ED News with an article about the show and additional copies of the article and photo. Portfolio 2: 5 collages on paper, 4 mounted of various set design elements. Portfolio 3: 21 pieces original artwork for various set elements, including backdrops and portals, mixed media with gouache and collage, most mounted; 21 prints and other copies of the same images; 19 prints of Willa Kim’s costume design sketches. Largest collage 14 1/4" x 26". All as is and in production used condition. For the ballet performance of St. Louis Woman, Dance Theatre of Harlem, New York State Theatre, 2003; and Suite From St. Louis Woman, Smuin Ballet, San Francisco, CA, 2009.
