Oscar Micheaux (American, 1884-1951). 2 first edition books. The Wind From Nowhere, Book Supply Company, 1941, first edition, with paper dust jacket and insert signed by Micheaux in ink mounted on the front endpaper; The Homesteader, Western Book Supply Company, 1917, first edition. Homesteader 7 3/4" x 5 3/8". Both with shelf wear and bumped corners, both with foxing and toning to pages throughout; Wind From Nowhere tears and losses to dust jacket; Homesteader some fraying to spine.
