Pop Culture Time Capsule: TV Memorabilia & Vintage Toys
Lot 100:
This lot features four vintage Japanese robot and transforming toys from the early 1980s, representing iconic series from the Golden Age of mecha. Included is a Takatoku Toys Orguss Drifand Dee (Emaan Device 4), a 1/60 scale model constructed of die-cast metal and plastic. From Takara’s Microman and Micro Change lines, the collection includes a Micro Robot-3 (M-3 Flash) and a Micro Robot Car 02 (Mazda Familia 1500XG). Completing the set is a Banpresto Tetsujin 28-go (Iron Man 28) figure. Each item is housed in its original Japanese-market cardboard packaging featuring vibrant graphics, Japanese and English text, and ST (Safe Toy) marks. These pieces represent the influential era of Japanese toy design that served as the precursor to the global Transformers franchise. Largest box measures approximately 7.5 x 6 inches.
Condition: Items are in original packaging with internal inserts present. Boxes exhibit moderate shelf wear consistent with age, including corner compression, edge fraying, surface scuffing, and creasing. The Banpresto box has an unfolded integrated handle. Figures appear intact within their respective boxes; mechanical functions and completeness of internal accessories have not been verified outside of the packaging.
Notice to bidders: The absence of a condition report does not imply that the lot is in perfect condition. Photos are considered part of the condition report.
