Description

A curated group of four vintage Japanese mecha and transformable vehicle toys produced by industry leaders Takara and Tomy during the late Showa era. The lot includes a Takara Giant Gorg Dux Guardian Level 21 action figure, molded in blue vinyl and based on the 1984 Sunrise anime series. Also included is a Tomy Sky Dancer transformable vehicle, featuring a blue plastic chassis with chrome-finished components and vibrant decals, designed to convert from a futuristic car to a jet. The third item is a Takara Armored Trooper Votoms Berserga Q-64, a 1:60 scale figure from the AT Collection Series No. 7, complete with its handheld weapon and shield accessories. The final piece is a Takara Micro Change series MC-18 Kagirobo Magneman, a key-themed robot that served as a precursor to the global Transformers phenomenon. The items are constructed primarily of molded plastic and vinyl. Packaging features a mix of Japanese kanji and English text, including the ST (Safety Toy) mark and manufacturer logos. Box dimensions for the Sky Dancer are approximately 5.5 by 7.5 inches.

Condition: The collection is offered in original cardboard packaging. The boxes exhibit visible shelf wear consistent with age, including edge rubbing, corner softening, and surface creasing. The Kagirobo box shows a notable puncture and tear to the front display window. The Giant Gorg box has black marker notations on the upper right corner. Interior contents appear to be in excellent, largely unplayed-with condition. The Sky Dancer and Berserga retain their original white styrofoam inserts. The Berserga includes an unapplied sticker sheet and original printed instructions. While items appear largely complete, they have not been fully inventoried against original part lists.

Notice to bidders: The absence of a condition report does not imply that the lot is in perfect condition. Photos are considered part of the condition report. Complete condition information is available by request, please request no later than 24 hours prior to the auction. All lots are offered and sold "as is", and Willow Auctions will not provide refunds based on condition. Timepiece movements, lighting and electrics have not been tested, and art has not been examined out of the frame unless otherwise stated. We have our own in-house shipping program.  Please request in-house shipping, if needed.
