Description
This lot consists of two vintage Japanese soft vinyl (sofubi) action figures from the Adventure Rockbat (Boken Rockbat) series, produced by the premier manufacturer Bullmark. The collection includes one larger figure cast in a distinctive translucent gold vinyl infused with glitter, featuring painted silver and green accents. The second figure is constructed from multi-colored opaque vinyl in red, yellow, and green with hand-painted facial details. These figures represent characters from the 1975 tokusatsu television program. Each item is preserved in its original clear plastic bag packaging, topped with an illustrated cardstock header featuring the Bullmark logo and the Japanese text for Bullmark’s Rockbat Series. These pieces serve as excellent examples of mid-1970s Japanese pop culture collectibles. Measurements: 17 x 7 inches.
Condition: Both items are complete in their original factory packaging. The cardstock headers show typical age-related wear, including creasing, soft corners, and staple marks. The clear plastic bags exhibit wrinkling and light surface accumulation. Original vintage price markings of 250 and ?350 are present on the headers. The vinyl figures appear to be in excellent, unplayed-with condition, having been protected by the original film since manufacture.
