Description
This vintage unassembled Bandai Real Hobby Series No. 5 model kit features the 1964 Godzilla design, known to collectors as MosuGoji, from the film Mothra vs. Godzilla. The kit is constructed from dark green molded plastic components including the torso, head, feet, and a multi-section tail. It includes a set of translucent green dorsal fins and a red internal electronic lighting mechanism designed to illuminate the character’s eyes, mouth, and fins. The original packaging displays prominent Toho Scope and Bandai branding alongside movie stills and Japanese text. The box is marked with the Japan Toy Association ST safety logo (number 0303004). This series was highly regarded for its large scale and realistic detailing for the era. Box measures approximately 15 x 11 inches. Completed model dimensions are approximately 60cm in length and 30cm in height.
Condition: This item is an unassembled kit in its original packaging. The cardboard box exhibits significant shelf wear, including rubbing, creasing, and minor tearing at the edges. The internal styrofoam insert is damaged with a large structural break and several punctures. While the primary molded plastic components are present, the absolute completeness of all small parts and the functional condition of the vintage electronic lighting mechanism are undeterminable.
