Louis Marx & Co. The Mighty Kong battery-operated remote-controlled toy, model J-9427, manufactured in Japan. The gorilla figure is constructed with brown faux fur over a mechanical frame, featuring molded plastic hands, feet, and facial details, a silver-toned neck collar, and a metal connecting chain between the wrists. The set includes its original cardboard box featuring colorful lithographed graphics depicting the character in various scenes, including atop a skyscraper and battling a dinosaur. Tested, not working. Box size 10" H x 6" W.

Condition: The gorilla figure and mechanical frame appear structurally sound with original faux fur and plastic components. The original box shows age-related wear, including creasing, edge tears, and surface abrasions, particularly on the top flap and front panel. The internal remote lead is present. Notice to bidders: The absence of a condition report does not imply that the lot is in perfect condition. Photos are considered part of the condition report. Complete condition information is available by request, please request no later than 24 hours prior to the auction. All lots are offered and sold "as is", and Willow Auctions will not provide refunds based on condition. Timepiece movements, lighting and electrics have not been tested, and art has not been examined out of the frame unless otherwise stated. We have our own in-house shipping program.  Please request in-house shipping, if needed.

Items exhibit varying degrees of shelf wear to original packaging. The Trendmasters Ghidorah box shows edge wear, scuffing, and small tears; the figure appears unused and remains in the original cardboard inserts. The Mattel Megalon header card shows creasing and price sticker residue, but the figure remains in the original bag. The Aoshima metal kit is unbuilt and appears complete in the original foam tray. The Bandai game and small boxed set show minor exterior wear with well-preserved contents. All items are sold as-is with original packaging.
