Pop Culture Time Capsule: TV Memorabilia & Vintage Toys
Lot 134:
This lot features a collection of three vintage 1/60 scale die-cast and plastic model robot toys from the Japanese anime series Super Dimension Century Orguss, produced by the manufacturer Takatoku Toys. The collection includes two MBG-21D-2 Gerwalk Ishkick Standard Version figures and one Emaan Device 3 M-Lover Lieea (Drifand) model. These figures are constructed from a combination of die-cast metal and molded plastic, characteristic of the high-quality production standards of the early 1980s. Each unit features intricate mechanical detailing, technical specifications in Japanese, and modular components. The packaging includes original window boxes with period-accurate illustrations and branding. Lot dimensions are approximately 7 x 7.5 x 4 inches.
Condition: The items are housed in their original cardboard window boxes, which exhibit age-appropriate wear including corner scuffing, creasing, and surface abrasions. The M-Lover Lieea box shows more pronounced wear with tearing to the end flaps. One unit is presented with its original internal Styrofoam insert and includes various loose components such as a display base and modular attachments. Figures appear to be in good vintage condition with original parts; however, full inventory of every small accessory has not been verified.
Notice to bidders: The absence of a condition report does not imply that the lot is in perfect condition. Photos are considered part of the condition report. Complete condition information is available by request, please request no later than 24 hours prior to the auction. All lots are offered and sold "as is", and Willow Auctions will not provide refunds based on condition. Timepiece movements, lighting and electrics have not been tested, and art has not been examined out of the frame unless otherwise stated. We have our own in-house shipping program. Please request in-house shipping, if needed.
The figures appear largely complete within their original packaging. The Red King box contains some loose components within the insert. The original blue cardboard boxes exhibit significant shelf wear consistent with age, including overall scuffing, edge creasing, corner dings, and minor tearing on the flaps. One box retains a vintage 12.00 retail price sticker. The window plastic shows some light wrinkling. Originality of all small parts is assumed but not guaranteed due to the loose nature of some components.
