Description
This vintage Indiana Jones action figure was manufactured by Star Toys, S.A. of Barcelona, Spain, under official license from Lucasfilm Ltd., bearing a copyright date of 1987. The figure is constructed of molded plastic and features tailored fabric clothing consisting of a tan long-sleeved shirt and matching trousers. Accessories include a molded plastic belt, a separate brown fedora, and a rifle, all of which remain housed in the original clear plastic blister. The cardboard backing is uniquely designed for the Spanish market, featuring a world map graphic titled MAPA MUNDI 1939 with Spanish-language geographical labels. The reverse side of the card displays promotional images for other toys in the series, including adventure gear sets with reference numbers 120101, 120110, and 120150. This item is a notable example of international licensed merchandise from the late 1980s. Dimensions are approximately 11 1/2 by 8 1/2 inches.
Condition: The item is complete and remains in its original, unopened packaging. The cardboard backing exhibits significant wear consistent with age and storage, including heavy creasing, edge fraying, and a prominent vertical tear through the bottom center of the card. The plastic blister shows some light surface scuffing but remains securely attached to the card. The figure and accessories appear to be in excellent, factory-original condition.
