Description
This lot features a diverse collection of eight vintage 11.5-inch articulated action figures in the style of Hasbro G.I. Joe, accompanied by one factory-sealed accessory set. The figures represent various military and adventure themes from the 1960s and 1970s. Highlights include an astronaut in a silver foil space suit with a helmet, a deep-sea diver with a rubberized orange suit and oxygen tanks, and several figures from the Adventure Team era featuring life-like flocked hair and beards. One figure is a notable talking variant, identified by the perforated torso designed to house an internal pull-string sound mechanism. The collection includes an African American sailor in a tan uniform and various soldiers in camouflage and olive drab fatigues. The included accessory set is an Action Soldier Outfits No. 8500, distributed by Madison Ltd. of Hackensack, New Jersey. This unopened blister pack contains a blue jumpsuit, a white plastic ceremonial sword, a white cap, and black boots. Figures are constructed of vinyl and plastic with various cloth and synthetic components. Figures approximately 11.5 inches tall.
Condition: The condition of the lot varies across the pieces. The orange rubberized diver suit shows significant material degradation, cracking, and crumbling typical of the age. Other figures exhibit general surface wear, minor staining to cloth uniforms, and some missing accessories or footwear; one figure is notably barefoot. The talking mechanism has not been tested and is sold as-is. The Madison Ltd. packaging shows shelf wear and card warping but remains factory sealed.

Condition report:
The collection is in vintage, played-with condition. Notable structural issues include one figure in a camouflage jacket with a detached head and a figure in a light blue shirt with a detached hand (hand is present). The original packaging shows significant wear, including creasing, scuffing, edge wear, and some tearing to the cardboard boxes. The polybag is crinkled with age. Uniforms show varying degrees of fraying, minor staining, and age-related discoloration. Completeness of individual accessory sets is not guaranteed.
