Description
This lot consists of two vintage action figures from the Masters of the Universe (MOTU) collection manufactured by Mattel. The first figure is Sy-Klone (Item No. 7997), marketed as the heroic fist-flinging tornado. This figure features a mechanical 360-degree spinning torso and an animated radar screen on the chest. It bears a copyright date of 1984 and is marked as manufactured in Hong Kong. The second figure is He-Man (Item No. 5040), the most powerful man in the universe, featuring the signature power punch action. This figure bears a copyright date of 1982 and is marked as manufactured in Mexico. Both figures are constructed of molded vinyl and plastic and are presented in their original blister pack packaging, which includes a lithographed cardboard cardback and a plastic bubble. The reverse of the cards features character cross-sell illustrations of other figures in the line, such as Teela, Ram-Man, and Skeletor. The He-Man card includes a vintage retail red tag special sticker priced at $1.99.
Condition: Both figures are in their original, unopened factory packaging. The Sy-Klone figure shows moderate shelf wear and minor edge wear to the cardback. The He-Man figure exhibits more significant age-related wear, including heavy creasing to the cardback, edge wear, and distinct yellowing or ambering of the plastic blister bubble. Both figures appear complete with all original accessories as issued.
Notice to bidders: The absence of a condition report does not imply that the lot is in perfect condition. Photos are considered part of the condition report. All lots are offered and sold "as is", and Willow Auctions will not provide refunds based on condition.
